To our beloved in the Lord who live and serve our Good Lord in the city of Lakeside: The Lord bless you in all things.  It is our constant prayer that you all continue to grow in the knowledge and love of the Lord.

The Lord willing we hope to see you on the 12th.

Rejoice with us beloved. This past month, María de Jesús was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of her sins. On Tuesday the 17th of December, María confessed that Jesus is the Son of God and was buried with Him in baptism. All of us were very anxious for her since she has been visiting us for about 2 years. Her sister in the flesh was baptized 2 years ago and we thought that she would follow soon. We met María at the school track where we walk, jog or run. She is also Martha's hair dresser. She is the 7th person to be converted from that track. Martha says its my "Exercise Ministry". The Word of the Lord is powerful and if we teach it, the Word will do its work.

We continue to study regularly with Alejandro Chosa, a running partner. We are also anxious for him to obey soon. The Lord give us patience. Brother Juan, who runs with us has a great love for the Word and for Alejandro. With that combination, Juan will continue to speak to his heart.

The church in Calexico and Mexicali continue to congregate each Sunday to remember the Lord until He returns. In Calexico we are now in Matthew 23 as we consider the very words of our Lord. In Mexicali we have finished with the Book of Jude and we will now start with First Peter. On Wednesday evenings, we have finished with Psalms and we will now be looking at the Book of Ecclesiastes.

Here in Mexicali, we continue to have visitors to our services. Brother Jesus Ayon is bringing his girlfriend Doña Sylvia and Sister Sofie is bringing her neigbhor Doña Vanesa.

Brother Miguel Angel has been coming to our services now for a couple of months. He was baptized back in 2009 but soon afterwards fell away. He started visiting other churches and for some reason he has returned to us. We hope he realizes that we are not here to serve men, but the Lord only.

Our visits with Isela Lara are constant. She has good days and bad days, but I never hear her complain. Her mother is still convinced that she can be cured. She has MS and from what I have read, it has no cure. Trying to cure her is hard on both of them because her mother gets discouraged when she sees no improvement and that effects Isela because she doesn´t want to worry her mother. Isela and I have spoken very openly about her illness and she knows what MS is. Isela is very intelligent and very well read.

Our daughter April and her husband Kris were down for the new year. April is recuperating so well from the surgery that they were able to fly down from Portland.

Brethren, a prayer request for two of our very close brethren in El Salvador. Dionisio Garcia who has cancer in his nasal passage. He just finished up one full month of quimotheraphy. The other brother is Cecilio Aleman, a beloved preacher from the east side of the country. He also had cancer in his face. They have started to reconstruct his left cheek. We have helped these brethren as much as we can. If there is someone who would like to help them, please do so, especially with the medicines.

Very well my beloved, the Lord bless you all.  In His service,

Raymond Gonzalez
